New publication on miRNA data handling

 

Detection of low abundant miRNAs has proven to be challenging. As a result, hardly any validation studies have been published, despite many successful miRNA biomarker discovery efforts. The AMC, together with ACS Biomarker published a data analysis algorithm that results in reliable, reproducible miRNA results. Using this algorithm we were able to, for the first time, validate a miRNA biomarker candidate in 3 large independent cohorts. Please click on the button below to read more about this study.
